After quitting her gymnastics career, she began to compete in fitness shows when she was 16. At the age of 17, she was 17 years old, she won her pro card. Thus becoming the youngest IFBB Pro of all time. Ariel was forced to take a hiatus of six years from the stage after earning her professional card in order to further her studies. Then she came back in the year 2015 and carried on from the point where she had left taking part in elite contests including that of the Toronto Pro Supershow, and Mr. Olympia. She continued to compete for several years after her debut show setting higher expectations for herself each year. For 2009 alone, 4 more fitness titles were added to her collection. In 2009, she was the NPC Team Universe Fitness Nationals Champion, which made her one of the most youthful IFBB Fitness Pro in history (aged 17). When she earned her Pro Card, Ariel took a six-year break from competitive sports to finish her college degree. The first time she competed professionally with IFBB was in the 2015 Phoenix Europa Games in October 2015. She finished in 3rd place in the competition. She was the winner of the IFBB Toronto Pro Supershow in the summer of 2016, and then qualified for the Fitness Olympia. She walked out on stage three month later and came home with sixth place in the Fitness Division. Ariel said she had no expectation prior to that and was satisfied with the results. It is no surprise that Ariel placed well considering she had to compete with top-of-the-line athletes. Ariel has seen her body improve each year. Ariel prefers to concentrate upon her lower back. She usually does bent over rows, single arm pull-downs (on a machine) as well as pull-ups, and sitting rowing. It is common to warm up first, followed by an actual workout. Ariel gets the most out of the time she has. Ariel achieves this by performing supersettings for all her exercises in the back. This involves three to 4 sets of 10-12 repetitions.
